Hey gals,

Like Luba Sama said, I also stumbled on this site and I was excited going through the pages hoping to catch a familiar name.  Any class of '77's?  -  Daisy Quee, Mabel Kamara, Joy Keili, Ajaratu Gabisi, Diane Kawa, Fatmata Rogers - anyone know where these guys are? will be glad to keep in touch with them. Thanks and happy new year to you all.

Hi Everyone,
Congratulations as we celebrate our 160th anniversary. I am so sad I will miss this august celebration . I know you will all celebrate it with the poise and dignity it deserves. Having spent 7 years as a pupil and another 15 years as a teacher I know what it is to be associated this this great school. I always regret not being able to send my daughter to benfit from the  good grooming I received at the Annie Walsh. I will definitely bring her home someday to visit the school. Have a wonderful celebration and God's blessing.

Hello All, I am so proud of my Almamater and so excited about the celebration. I wish I was there to celebrate. The Annie Walsh gave me such a strong academic foudation, that I am able to achieve my enormous goals and dreams that I set forth to do on the USA. However, I think we should privatize the school in order to achieve a better outcome. We can do it, BRAVO to all !!!. Please keep in touch and God bless

Congrats at 160yrs and STILL GOING STRONG...!! Was the BEST school then (class of '76) and with all our help and support it will remain the best for YEARS to come. Our formative secondary school years give us the grounding for the challenges we meet ahead.  Many thanks for the teachers, friends and lifelong education  that I received here. So sad I cannot be there...I'm too far away in Hong Kong at the moment looking forward to seeing all the photos on the web site SOOOON...!! All the best to ALL of my SISTERS   'Make una enjoy for we all..!'

My days at the AWMS were so important to me now. Little did I know how much of an impact those times would have on my life. I have many fond memories and most importantly, I made some great and smashing friends who are still in my life today, after over 30 years. Life is wonderful and I thank God for my family and friends. I also thank the Good Lord for his rich blessings and daily tender care!

I salute the individual or group of individuals whose idea it was to put together this site and much appreciation to the individual responsible for building the site. Godbless.
Just recently was trying to recall the names of girls I started the Annie Walsh with. I did a count of 50+ and know there are more, so it was nice to be able to add two more from the classmates list.
There is no best time, like the present. We were blessed to enjoy a high standard of education at the AWMS, let us ensure this standard is maintained for generations to come.
Privatisation and Relocation ,I believe is the answer. So lets go for it.
Every Blessings to all my AWMS sisters worlwide. To those attending the reunion, had a wonderful time. "oonar enjoy for me also"

Come on fellow alumnae of the Annie Walsh Memorial School let us join in celebrating its 160th anniversary! Wherever you are, sign the guest book, renew acquaintances with school mates with whom you may have lost contact.

As we celebrate we also have an opportunity to give back! The school we loved, which has served many of us well, now needs our help.  As you read the different sections of this web site you might find where you can use your talent, skill or means to give back, and help the AWMS move into the future, upholding its legacy of excellence in education.

Recently relocated to Sierra Leone after a thirty year absence (with regular visits).
We MUST privatise and RELOCATE . This is the only way we can improve on present standards.I am sure AWOGA worldwide can rise to this enormous challenge.
AWMS gave me the foundation to go out into the world and achieve. I am grateful. Let us use the upcoming celebrations to focus our minds on the much needed improvements to our alma mater.

My time at the AWMS set me in good stead and made me the person I am today.  Education is the stepping stone to all things great.  We cannot go forward in life without making sure we have left our footprints for others to follow.  What better way to do this than to ensure that those coming up behind us have the same opportunities, facilities and previleges  we once received.    Let us continue to build on the firm foundation that was laid in 1849.
